Colourful Societies Project

The Aglantzia Municipality implements for the fifth year in 2018 the «Colourful Societies» project, covering the Nicosia province as well as a large ge-ographic share of the Republic of Cyprus.

The “Colourful Society” project offers services & activities aiming at the acquaintance and interac-tion with TCNs, information of citizens and the local community, creation of conditions for their smooth participation in everyday life and the cov-erage of basic support services for the familiariza-tion with the Cypriot society, culture and lifestyle.

The Aglantzia Municipality, as the lead partner of the project will operate a support office through which the Third countries nationals will have the opportunity to be informed for health services, social welfare, education, for their obligations and rights etc.

Our Goal & Mission:

Our goal through the social support to third coun-try nationals residing in Cyprus, is to assist them to cope with various challenges they encounter daily, in order to become independent and equal mem-bers of the local community.

Our mission is to enhance social inclusion, inte-gration and wellbeing through personal empower-ment and self-awareness, but also through the pro-vision of basic information based on fundamental social rights.

What do we offer:

> Individual Social Support

We provide support and information according to the individual’s needs, emphasizing on the follow-ing areas:

> Basic Information regarding the type of the residence permit in Cyprus

> Health Care > Information on the corresponding authorities > Education > Employment Counselling > Personal Concerns > Home visit upon request and contact with our Service

> Collaboration with volunteer Οrganizations > Conducting groups if deemed that will help to improve the adaptation, socialization and achievement of goals.

Services are provided to third country nationals with legal stay in the Republic of Cyprus. Our ser-vices are based on confidentiality and respect for diversity and individuality, without any form of discrimination on race, gender or religion.

Projet des sociétés colorées

La municipalité d’Anglantzia met en oeuvre, pour la cinquème fois en 2018 le projet ‘’ Les sociétés colorées’’ couvrant la province de Nicosie ainsi qu’une vaste partie géographique de la République de Chypre.

La ’’société colorées’’ offre des services et activités qui à pour objectif la Connaissance et l ‘Interaction avec les TCNs, l’information pour les citoyens et la commu-nauté locale, création de conditions pour leur bonne participation dans la vie quotidienne, et la couverture des services de soutien de base pour la familiarisation avec la société, la culture et le style de vie Chypriote.

La Municipalité d’Aglantzia, en tant que partenaire principal du projet, exploitera un bureau de sou-tien par lequel les ressortissants de pays tiers au-ront l’occasion d’etre informés sur les services de santé, services sociales, éducation ainsi que pour les obligations et droits, etc.

Notre Objectif et Mission:

Notre objectif à travers le soutien social aux res-sortissants de pays tiers résidants à Chypre, est de les aider à faire face aux differents défis qu’ils ren-contrent quotidiennement, enfin de les aider à de-venir membres indépendants et égaux de la com-mnauté locale.

Notre mission est de renforcer l’inclusion sociale, l’in-tegration et le bien-être à l’automisation personnelle et connaissance de soi, mais aussi à travers la four-niture d’informations de base sur les droits sociaux.

Qu’est-ce que nous offrons:

> Soutien social individuel

Nous fournissons du support et de l’information selon les besoins de chacun, en mettant l’accent sur les domaines suivants:

> Information de base concernant le type de permis de séjour à Chypre.

> Soins de santé > Information sur les autorités correspondantes > Education > Counseling d’emploi > Préoccupation personnelles > Visite à domicile sur demande après contact avec notre service

> Collaboration avec des organisations bénévoles > Diriger des groupes si cela est jugé utile pour améliorer l’adaptation, la socialisation et la réalisation des objectifs.

A qui fournissons-nous des services:

Les services sont fournis aux ressortissants de pays tiers en séjour légal dans la République de Chypre. Nos services sont basés sur la confidentialité et le respect de la diversité et l  ‘individualité, sans au-cune forme de discrimination sur la race, le sexe où la religion.
