More use, investment and development on OJS is expected in the short termA lot of OA e-publishing projects by academic libraries have been approved by government for the next 3 yearsIt is expected that more than 40 journals published by Academic institutions and scientific societies will be published through OJS platforms run by librariesA lot of customization and new tools are also expected to be developed, but it is uncertain what portion of this work would be disseminated to the community due to the implementation framework of these projects (e.g. tenders for private sector to provide OJS as a service to libraries !!!!)
