One day as he was walking near the Lake of Gennesaret, Christ met some fishermen. “Come with me,” he said to

them, “and I will make you fishers of men.” Then they left their nets and followed

him. Here are some of his twelve disciples.

When he was a grown man, St John the Baptist baptized Christ in the River Jordan. “This is my beloved Son,” the voice of God the Father was heard from above. The Holy Spirit appeared in the form of a dove,

revealing that Christ is the Son of God.

“My children, I will be with you only a little while longer,” Christ said to his disciples at the Last Supper. “Where I am going, you cannot go.

I give you a new commandment; love one other as I have loved you.” “Lord, where are you going? Wherever you go I will follow you.

I will give even my life for you,” Peter said to Him. “Do you really mean that?” Christ answered him.

“Before dawn and before the rooster crows you will deny me three times.”

He took the cup with the wine, thanked God and said to them, “This is my blood.” And he gave it to everyone for them to drink.

Then he took the bread, blessed it, broke it into pieces, and gave it

to his disciples. “Take, eat, this is my body.”

Before they had supper, Christ wrapped a towel around his waist, took a basin filled with water and washed the disciples’ feet. “If you are my friends, do what I do; love and serve one another,” he said to them.

Christ is washing one of the disciple’s feet. Which one is he?

Two thieves were also crucified together

with Christ. One of them said to him,

“Remember me, Lord, in your Kingdom.” “Today you will be

with me in Paradise,” Christ said to him.

Who is carrying the soul of the thief who is on Christ’s right?

On the Cross, Christ prayed for his crucifiers:

“My God, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”

When Christ died, the sun hid its rays and

the earth began to tremble.

Who is standing at the foot of the Cross?

Joseph and Nicodemus, two secret disciples of Christ, took down his body from the Cross.

“O sweetest Jesus! How can I bury you who are my God?”

Joseph wept.

Who is the woman embracing Christ?

On Sunday morning, the myrrh-bearers went to Christ’s tomb to anoint his body with spices.

“Who will roll back the stone?” they wondered. When they got there, they saw that the tomb was open,

and an angel said to them, “Why are you crying? Christ has risen! Go and tell his disciples.”

What are the myrrh-bearers holding in their hands?
