" O, our God, the God of Moses and Jesus and Mohammad,The God of the weak and of all creatures, we thank youfor sheltering us, for uniting our hearts with your love and mercy, we are assembled here today in a house of yours,at a time of fasting...Our hearts yearn for you; our minds derive light and guidance from you...we have come to your door, we havegathered together to serve man. It is man that all religions aspire to serve...All religions were once united; they anticipated one another; they validated one another. They called man to God andthey served man. Then the different religions diverged when each sought to serve itself, to pay excessive attention toitself to the point that each religion forgot the original purpose: the service of man. Then discord and strife were born, and the crisis of man deepened."

Imam Moussa Al-Sadr always bore the word of God and matched words with action, until he reached thehighest level of faith.Yet, tyrants who assumed the cover of darkness, concealed him in fear of theillumination of truth. "...Science has committed no sin save the discovery of the truth. A man of faith who opposes sciences and isthreatened by it should revise his own views and doubt them. Fearing the truth means nothing but that he is afraid ofthe encounter of his religion with realities, while true belief, in fact, causes a scientific renaissance."

I n c o m e G e n e r a t i n g

Imam Al-Sadr Foundation's income is generated through the following means:

1. Iftars of the holy month of Ramadan donations and alms2. Government grants - Ministry of Social Affairs3. Cash and procurements donated by different individuals inside and outside Lebanon4. Subscription of members of the Foundation's Committees5. Income generating projects.6. Tuition and fees: the Nursing School, the Nursery and the Dispensaries7. Orphans' Sponsorship:

This is one of the most important income generating sections for the Foundation. This method was started as a mean to mix the material and moral donations between the sponsor and the orphan. After a thorough study, the Foundation found that each of the orphans would cost $1200 annually. And because of the economical recess, the Foundation came up with two kinds of sponsorship:

• Total sponsorship where the full $1200 are paid by one person.• Partial sponsorship where one person may share the sponsorship of one child with another donor

costing $600 each.8. Contributions of kind-hearted benefactors like your good self, could kindly contact us at the
