Σε λίγες μέρες ο προϋπολογισμός των κρατών που συμμετέχουν στην συνθήκη six packs/ twopacks , για πρώτη φορά στην ιστορία της Ένωσης θα περάσει από τον έλεγχο του συμβουλίουυπουργών οικονομικών της Ευρωζώνης eurogroup (στο eurogroup της ) προηγουμένως ηεπιτροπή και ειδικότερα η διεύθυνση του κομισάριου Ολι Ρεν θα έχει αξιολογήσει τα προσχέδιατων εθνικών προϋπολογισμών.Στη πραγματικότητα η ένωση στους χρόνους της κρίσης, μετέβαλε σε σημαντικό βαθμό τοδευτερογενές δίκαιο και άπλωσε ένα ισχυρό δίκτυ εποπτείας πάνω από κράτη μέλη της.Βεβαίως πάντα η ένωση είχε πολύ καλή εικόνα για τα δημοσιονομικά και τα εν γένειοικονομικά μεγέθη των κρατών μελών μέσω της ΕΚΤ (ροές και εθνικοί λογαριασμοί). Όμως ηαξιοπιστία της Ένωσης δέχθηκε συντριπτικό πλήγμα τόσο από την απογραφή του JoseSocrates (2005)( στη Πορτογαλία όσο και τις δυο απογραφές στην Βελάδα (μια υπουπουργίας του Δρ. Γ. Αλογοσκούφη το 2004 και η δεύτερη το 2010 επι υπουργίας του Γ.Παπακωνσταντίνου).
