The work for the renovation of the observatory was fulfilled in 2008 with the finacial aid of University of Patras. The observatory has two stable pillars for telescopes and an hydraulic movable platform for portable telescopes. In addition there is a large computer-contol room for the observers. When the telescope is in use, a part of the roof is moved out of the way allowing observations to occur.
