IndexEpilogueHomeIt was in 2009, in a small German town near Dsseldorf, Ratingen, when a group of teachers from different countries, with different cultural backgrounds, but with the same vision for the education, have met in order to discuss and put the pillars on a common new born project. A project that would change the everyday routine of these 3 schools for the next 2 years would change the things we all knew- till this day about these 3 countries. A project that would make us realize how much in common we share, despite our differences, because we do Share Past, Present and Future.

These two years have passed so quickly, have offered us experiences, made us come closer not only with the partners schools and their culture but also with each other, in our own schools separately. Teachers and students were working together to create, prepare, share, travel, visit, host.

The experience: smashing for both teachers and students!

The collaboration: touching in any aspect! After all this time, as I am looking back, having focused on our expectations from this Project, I believe we should be satisfied that our students have improved their competence in ICT skills and English, as it was the language of communication. They have also improved their social skills and have gained several experiences, enjoying themselves at the same time.

School has discovered a different way to teach, to create interest for other countries and cultures, and eventually to enhance responsibility.INDEXTHE ENVIRONMENTEnvironment.

IndexHomeTeachers themselves had the opportunity to exchange practices and ideas, find out aspects in their pedagogical and educational procedures to be improved. We strongly believe that through this Project we have offered our students, not only a nice experience but friendship and memories.

At last I would like to give my special thanks to all the families from the three countries that gave a warm hospitality to our students and made them feel at home.

Thanks to all the students who participated in this project and most of the times they worked really hard. Thanks to all the colleagues without whose collaboration, support and offer nothing would have come to a successful ending.

Thanks to Jos Luis Gordillo Nevado, teacher of ICT in Gvora School for the great effort he made to keep every digital product in the right place at the right time, being always there when I needed him.

Thanks to the directors of our School, Angeliki Leventi and Panagiotis Liakeas, whose vision for education and especially for our school itself, always inspires us and gives us the scaffolding we need to move on and try innovations with beneficial results for everyone.
