sCD27L (Catalog #310-30)

Synonyms: TNFSF7, CD70Description: CD27 Ligand, a type II transmembrane protein, is a member of the TNF superfamily. It is expressed on activated T and B lymphocytes as well as NK cells. CD27L and its receptor (CD27) regulate the immune response by promoting T-cell ex-pansion and differentiation, as well as NK enhancement. CD27 signaling can act as a co-stimulatory effector to sustain the sur-vival of CD8+ T cells, primarily by inducing increased expres-sion of the IL-2 gene. Full length human CD27L is a 193 amino acid protein, consisting of a 17 amino acid cytoplasmic domain, a 21 amino acid transmembrane domain, and a 155 amino acid extracellular domain. Human soluble CD27L corresponds to the 155 amino acid extracellular domain of the full length CD27L protein. PeproTech’s recombinant human sCD27L contains the extracellular domain plus an N-terminal His-Tag.

Chemerin (Catalog #300-66)Synonyms: Tazarotene-induced gene 2 (TIG2), RARRES2Description: Chemerin is a secreted chemoattractant protein that can signal through the chemokine like receptor-1 (CM-KLR1). It is expressed in various tissues, including white adi-pose tissue, and circulates in blood as an inactive 143 amino acid precursor protein. Biologically active Chemerin is generated by proteolytic removal of C-terminal residues by several circulating proteases. Chemerin acts as a chemoattractant for cells express-ing the CMKLR1 receptor, which includes certain dendritic cells, macrophages, and adipocytes. Recombinant human Chemerin is a 15.6 kDa protein consisting of 135 amino acid residues.

E-Selectin (Catalog #150-15)

Synonyms: Endothelial leukocyte adhesion molecule 1 (ELAM1), CD62E, SELE

Description: Selectins are a family of calcium-dependent type 1 transmembrane proteins. Endothelial (E)-selectin is a heavily glycosylated transmembrane protein expressed by activated en-dothelial cells in microvascular linings. E-selectin, along with P-selectin and L-selectin, initiate recruitment of circulating leu-kocytes from blood to sites of inflammation in the vascular lining through interaction with specific cell surface associated carbohy-drate determinants. E-selectin consists of an N-terminal type 1 lectin domain, an EGF-like domain, 6 sushi (CCP/SCR) domains,

a transmembrane sequence, and a short cytoplasmic domain. Re-combinant human E-selectin is a 58.6 kDa protein containing 535 amino acid residues, corresponding to the extracellular portion of the full length protein. Due to glycosylation, E-selectin migrates at an apparent molecular weight of approximately 65-85 kDa by SDS-PAGE analysis under reducing conditions.

Human IL-34 (Catalog #200-34)

Synonyms: C16orf77Description: IL-34 is a homodimeric cytokine that is ex-pressed in a range of tissues including spleen, heart, brain, liver, kidney, lung, ovary, thymus, testis, small intestine, prostate and colon. IL-34 is a ligand for colony-stimulating factor-1 recep-tor (CSF1R), which also binds to CSF-1. It specifically binds CD14+ monocytes, promotes survival and proliferation of hu-man peripheral blood monocytes, and stimulates macrophage colony formation by human bone marrow cells. IL-34, like hu-man CSF-1 stimulates phosphorylation of MAPK1/ERK2 and MAPK3/ERK1. Recombinant human IL-34 is a 52.5 kDa ho-modimeric glycoprotein consisting of 460 amino acid residues, including a C-terminal His-Tag.

MMP-3 (Catalog #420-03)

Synonyms: Stromelysin-1, SL-1, Transin-1 Description: Matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) are a family of endoproteases that require zinc and calcium for expressing cata-lytic activity. These enzymes play a central role in the maintenance and remodeling of the extracellular matrix. Elevated expression of their activity, caused either by up-regulation of their expression or down-regulation of their cognate inhibitors, has been implicated in various degenerative disorders, including arthritis, cardiovas-cular disease, skeletal growth-plate disorders, and cancer metas-tasis. MMP-3 degrades fibronectin, laminin, collagens III, IV, and X, and cartilage proteoglycans. Recombinant human MMP-3 is a 42.8 kDa protein containing 378 amino acids, which correspond to residues 100 – 477 of the full length MMP-3 precursor protein.

SPARC/Osteonectin (Catalog #120-36)Synonyms: Secreted protein acidic and rich in cysteine,

BM-40, ONDescription: SPARC/Osteonectin is a secreted, evolution-arily conserved collagen-binding glycoprotein that is involved in a variety of cellular activities. It is highly expressed in tis-sues undergoing morphogenesis, remodeling and wound repair. SPARC/Osteonectin and its related peptides bind to numerous proteins of the extracellular matrix (ECM), affect ECM protein expression, influence cellular adhesion and migration, and mod-ulate growth factor-induced cell proliferation and angiogenesis. SPARC/Osteonectin consists of three domains; an N-terminal acidic region that binds calcium ions with low affinity, a module containing two EF-hand motifs that bind calcium with high af-finity, and a cysteine-rich follistatin-like domain. Recombinant human SPARC/Osteonectin is a glycoprotein containing 286 amino acids that migrates at an apparent MW of 43.7 kDa by SDS-PAGE analysis due to the effect of glycosylation.

This easy-to-use ELISA buffer kit can also be pur-chased as a stand-alone product since the plates included are not pre-coated with capture antibody. This format allows the researcher to develop and optimize an assay for use with their own capture and detection antibodies. The actual antibody concentra-tions and detection ranges of the ELISA will vary.
