The oldest olive tree in the whole world at Kriti (greek island)Το αρχαιότερο ελαιόδεντρο στον πλανήτη είναι στην αυλή του σπιτιού της κ. Καραπατάκη, στο χωριό Άνω Βούβες στο Κολυμπάρι Χανίων στην Κρήτη. Λένε ότι είναι 2.500-5.000 ετών. Ο κορμός έχει περίμετρο γύρω στα 12 μέτρα. Το δέντρο στη βάση του είναι αγριελιά και δίνει μέχρι σήμερα πολύ λάδι.
