Description Naphazoline is an agonist at α1-adrenergic receptors that is clinically used to treat congestion and ocular pathologies such asmyasthenic blepharoptosis; it acts as a sympathomimetic and vasoconstrictor. Naphazoline inhibits erythroid differentiationand erythroleukemia cell growth through the induction of autophagy and necrotic cell death.
