A fuel cell is an electrochemical device that operates like battery. However, unlike a battery, a fuel cell requires constant supply of fuel, not recharging. Fuel Cell Technology uses fuel – usually hydrogen extracted from natural gas, propane, or other carbon based fuels and oxygen extracted from air – to produce electricity. It produces energy in the form of electricity and heat as long as there is a constant fuel source. It works simply – it has no moving parts and operates silently to produce electricity, heat and water as byproducts with minimal emissions.Fuel Cell Technology is a silent, environmentally – friendly and multi – fuel performing cell system.

REQUISITES

1). Presence of Credible Off taker such as: mines, industrial operators, processing factories, sugar plants, cement plants e.t.c.)

1. A). If the potential Off taker currently operates on Diesel, the implementation of the Technology could reduce drastically the operating costs. Flare gas must exist in the area. In both cases the Off taker pays for the kWh only based on a PPA (Power Purchase Agreement).

1. B). If a hydro site is close by and the Off taker operates with gensets there is significant decrease of electricity costs.The Technology Company invests in Power Plant and erects transmission lines to Off taker’s power points.The Technology Company produces, operates and maintains the Plant.

2). Small hydro plants from 5 W – 20 W.

Requirements: BANKABLE Feasibility Studies.Existence of water source / river.The Technology Company will build the transmission lines.

3).The Hydro Project could be finalized in (2) years (if bankable feasibility Studies exist).

4).In case of a serious Off taker a PPA must be signed with a Guarantee Of Purchase in place – Duration will be negotiated according to the Financial Model.

5). The balance of energy can be resold to third parties.
