3 Flights. Many hours at the airports. A

long day for us

The host families were waiting for us in the airport of Ioannina.

Most of our fears

disappeared. We felt like at

home

α

What a warm welcome! So

many activities to get to know

each other!

Then, the presentations of

our countries and schools.

We were nervous but we did a great job;)

Our logo was the winner

Learning to dance sirtaki was awesome

Cool! We think in

English all the time

Archaeological museum: artefacts,

inscriptions, headstones,

coins …

City game: a different way

of sightseeing

We felt important for 2 reasons: our groups names

were Zeus, Aphrodite …

& the reception at the City Hall

Cooking like in a “Master

chef” programme for salads

Our presentation

s about healthy food

and diet

Yummy end!

Free day with our host families

All of us went to the Island, except

Maria, who went to the mountains to play in the snow

The teachers ate frogs’ legs. We

preferred pita gyros

We wished we could have asked the Oracle of

Zeus at Dodona

We love feta cheese! The smell in the

factory was awful but

the cheese was delicious

Senses + sport: aromatic herbs, rap &

apples game

Attending lessons is … the same everywhere

Visit to a traditional handmade industry for silverware: we had €1,000 in small silver pieces in our hands

We were astonished when we found out the Greek artist Papagiannis himself was showing us the Museum of Contemporary Art named after him

The farewell: lots of different feelings & thoughts. Dancing Sirtaki all together
