Hitherto it was believed that nestled in the lush green valleys of the North-East, NIT

Silchar is aggrandized as well as scuttled by its picturesque location that remains far flung

from the rest of the mainland. But the spirit of the institute has proven to be too strong to be

thwarted, and under some inspiring leadership, it has broken the shackles that constrained it

to the so called Third Tier. NIT Silchar, today, is registering a strong presence on the bigger

stage of the nation with its voice that has become increasingly robust. Among the technologi-

cal gems of this nation, NIT Silchar is dazzling all its peers and has set an example of evolu-

tion. While NIT Silchar walks as a vanguard of the caravan of innovation in India, we have

We have revamped the magazine completely and given it a completely new look with a hope
