Cartea neamului lui Isus Hristos, fiul lui David, fiul lui Avraam.

βιβλος γενεσεως ιησου χριστου υιου δαβιδ υιου αβρααμ

The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.

2.  O Abraham sas o dat le Isaakosko; O Isaak sas o dat le Jakovosko; o Jakov sas o dat le Judasko ai leske phralengo;

Avraam a născut pe Isaac; Isaac a născut pe Iacov; Iacov a născut pe Iuda şi fraţii lui;

And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;

Ezechia a născut pe Manase; Manase a născut pe Amon; Amon a născut pe Iosia;

εζεκιας δε εγεννησεν τον μανασση μανασσης δε εγεννησεν τον αμων αμων δε εγεννησεν τον ιωσιαν

And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias;

11.  O Josias sas o dat le Jechoniasko ai leske phralengo, pe vriama kai ningerde la narodos Israel ande Babylon.

Iosia a născut pe Iehonia şi fraţii lui, pe vremea strămutării în Babilon.

ιωσιας δε εγεννησεν τον ιεχονιαν και τους αδελφους αυτου επι της μετοικεσιας βαβυλωνος

And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon:

12.  Kana sas ande Babylon, O Jechonias sas o dat le Salathielosko; O Salathiel sas o dat le Zorobabelosko;

După strămutarea în Babilon, Iehonia a născut pe Salatiel; Salatiel a născut pe Zorobabel;

μετα δε την μετοικεσιαν βαβυλωνος ιεχονιας εγεννησεν τον σαλαθιηλ σαλαθιηλ δε εγεννησεν τον ζοροβαβελ

And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel;

13.  O Zorobabel sas o dat le Abuidosko; O Abiud sas o dat le Eliakimosko; O Eliamkim sas o dat le Azorosko;

Zorobabel a născut pe Abiud; Abiud a născut pe Eliachim; Eliachim a născut pe Azor;

ζοροβαβελ δε εγεννησεν τον αβιουδ αβιουδ δε εγεννησεν τον ελιακειμ ελιακειμ δε εγεννησεν τον αζωρ

And Zorobabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor;

15.  O Eliud sas o dat le Eleazarosko; o Eleazar sas o dat le Matthanosko; O Matthan sas o dat le Jacobosko;

Eliud a născut pe Eleazar; Eleazar a născut pe Matan; Matan a născut pe Iacov;

ελιουδ δε εγεννησεν τον ελεαζαρ ελεαζαρ δε εγεννησεν τον ματθαν ματθαν δε εγεννησεν τον ιακωβ

And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob;

16.  O Jacob sas o dat le Josephosko, o rhom la mariako, kastar arakhadilo biandilo o Jesus, kai akharen 'Kristo'.

Iacov a născut pe Iosif, bărbatul Mariei, din care S'a născut Isus, care Se cheamă Hristos.

ιακωβ δε εγεννησεν τον ιωσηφ τον ανδρα μαριας εξ ης εγεννηθη ιησους ο λεγομενος χριστος

And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.

17.  Sa le vitsi de katar o Abraham zhi ka o David sas desh u shtar, de katar o David zhi ka e vriama kai sas ningerde ande Babylon sas desh u shtar vitsi, ai kotsar desh u shtar zhi kai arakhadilo o Kristo.

Deci, dela Avraam pînă la David, sînt patrusprezece neamuri de toate; dela David pînă la strămutarea în Babilon sînt patrusprezece neamuri; şi dela strămutarea în Babilon pînă la Hristos, sînt patrusprezece neamuri.

πασαι ουν αι γενεαι απο αβρααμ εως δαβιδ γενεαι δεκατεσσαρες και απο δαβιδ εως της μετοικεσιας βαβυλωνος γενεαι δεκατεσσαρες και απο της μετοικεσιας βαβυλωνος εως του χριστου γενεαι δεκατεσσαρες

So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.

18.  Eta sar arakhadilo o Jesus Kristo. E Maria leski dei sas tomnime ka Josef, numa mai anglal sar te traiin andek than, ashili phari katar e putiera le Swuntone Duxoski.

Iar naşterea lui Isus Hristos a fost aşa: Maria, mama Lui, era logodită cu Iosif; şi înainte ca să locuiască ei împreună, ea s'a aflat însărcinată dela Duhul Sfînt.

του δε ιησου χριστου η γεννησις ουτως ην μνηστευθεισης γαρ της μητρος αυτου μαριας τω ιωσηφ πριν η συνελθειν αυτους ευρεθη εν γαστρι εχουσα εκ πνευματος αγιου

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

19.  O Josef lako rhom sas chacho manush, ai chi manglias te kerel lake lazhav; manglia te mekel la chordanes.

Iosif, bărbatul ei, era un om neprihănit, şi nu voia s'o facă de ruşine înaintea lumii; de aceea şi -a pus de gînd s'o lase pe ascuns.

ιωσηφ δε ο ανηρ αυτης δικαιος ων και μη θελων αυτην παραδειγματισαι εβουληθη λαθρα απολυσαι αυτην

Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.

20.  Sar gindilaspe pa kodia, iek angelo le Devlesko avisailo leste ando suno, ai phendia leske, 'Josef, shav le Davidosko, Na dara te le la Maria sar chiri rhomni. Ke katar o Swunto Duxo ashili phari.

Dar pe cînd se gîndea el la aceste lucruri, i s'a arătat în vis un înger al Domnului, şi i -a zis: ,,Iosife, fiul lui David, nu te teme să iei la tine pe Maria, nevastă-ta, căci ce s'a zămislit în ea, este dela Duhul Sfînt.

ταυτα δε αυτου ενθυμηθεντος ιδου αγγελος κυριου κατ οναρ εφανη αυτω λεγων ιωσηφ υιος δαβιδ μη φοβηθης παραλαβειν μαριαμ την γυναικα σου το γαρ εν αυτη γεννηθεν εκ πνευματος εστιν αγιου

But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

21.  Arakhadiola lake Shav, ai desa les o anav Jesus, ke wo si kai skepila peska manushen katar lenge bezexa.'

Ea va naşte un Fiu, şi -i vei pune numele Isus, pentru că El va mîntui pe poporul Lui de păcatele sale.``

τεξεται δε υιον και καλεσεις το ονομα αυτου ιησουν αυτος γαρ σωσει τον λαον αυτου απο των αμαρτιων αυτων

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

22.  Sa kodia kerdilia te pherdiol so phendiasas o Del katar o profeto.

Toate aceste lucruri s'au întîmplat ca să se împlinească ce vestise Domnul prin proorocul, care zice:

τουτο δε ολον γεγονεν ινα πληρωθη το ρηθεν υπο του κυριου δια του προφητου λεγοντος

Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,

23.  'E shei e bari ashela phari ai arakhadilia lake iek Shav, ai akharena lesko anav Emmanuel,' (Kodia si 'O Del amensa').

,,Iată, fecioara va fi însărcinată, va naşte un fiu, şi -i vor pune numele Emanuil``, care, tîlmăcit, înseamnă: ,,Dumnezeu este cu noi``.

ιδου η παρθενος εν γαστρι εξει και τεξεται υιον και καλεσουσιν το ονομα αυτου εμμανουηλ ο εστιν μεθερμηνευομενον μεθ ημων ο θεος

Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

24.  Kana o Josef wushtilo andai lindri, kerdias so phendias lesko o angelo le Devlesko, ai lias la Maria rhomni.

Cînd s'a trezit Iosif din somn, a făcut cum îi poruncise îngerul Domnului; şi a luat la el pe nevastă-sa.

διεγερθεις δε ο ιωσηφ απο του υπνου εποιησεν ως προσεταξεν αυτω ο αγγελος κυριου και παρελαβεν την γυναικα αυτου

Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:

25.  Numa chi traiisarde andek than zhi kai chi arakhadilo o Shav, ai dia les o anav Jesus.

Dar n'a cunoscut -o, pînă ce ea a născut un fiu. Şi el i -a pus numele Isus.

και ουκ εγινωσκεν αυτην εως ου ετεκεν τον υιον αυτης τον πρωτοτοκον και εκαλεσεν το ονομα αυτου ιησουν

And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

1.  O Jesus arakhadilo ando Bethlehem ande Judea. Pe kodia vriama o Herod sas o amperato.

După ce S'a născut Isus în Betleemul din Iudea, în zilele împăratului Irod, iată că au venit nişte magi din Răsărit la Ierusalim,

του δε ιησου γεννηθεντος εν βηθλεεμ της ιουδαιας εν ημεραις ηρωδου του βασιλεως ιδου μαγοι απο ανατολων παρεγενοντο εις ιεροσολυμα

Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,

2.  Antunchi le manush kai jinenas le chererhaia avile anda Easto, ai aresle ande Jerusalem. Ai phushle, "Kai kodo kai arakhadilo o Amperato le Zhidovongo? Ame dikhliam leski cherarhai ando Easto, ai aviliam te preznais ai te luvudis les."

şi au întrebat: ,,Unde este Împăratul de curînd născut al Iudeilor? Fiindcă I-am văzut steaua în Răsărit, şi am venit să ne închinăm Lui.``

λεγοντες που εστιν ο τεχθεις βασιλευς των ιουδαιων ειδομεν γαρ αυτου τον αστερα εν τη ανατολη και ηλθομεν προσκυνησαι αυτω

Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.

3.  Kana o amperato Herod ashundya pa kadia, darailo zurales, ai chi le manush kai sas ando Jerusalem lesa.

Cînd a auzit împăratul Irod acest lucru, s'a turburat mult; şi tot Ierusalimul s'a turburat împreună cu el.

ακουσας δε ηρωδης ο βασιλευς εταραχθη και πασα ιεροσολυμα μετ αυτου

When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.

4.  Chidia andek than sa le bare rasha, ai le manush kai ramon o zakono, ai phushlia le, "Kai trobulas te arakhadilo o Kristo?" Won phende leske,

A adunat pe toţi preoţii cei mai de seamă şi pe cărturarii norodului, şi a căutat să afle dela ei unde trebuia să Se nască Hristosul.

και συναγαγων παντας τους αρχιερεις και γραμματεις του λαου επυνθανετο παρ αυτων που ο χριστος γενναται

And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.

5.  "Ando Bethlehem ande Judea. Ke kadia si so ramosardia o profeto,

,,În Betleemul din Iudea``, i-au răspuns ei, ,,căci iată ce a fost scris prin proorocul:

οι δε ειπον αυτω εν βηθλεεμ της ιουδαιας ουτως γαρ γεγραπται δια του προφητου

And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,

6.  Ai tu Bethlehem, phuv anda Judea, chi san e mai tsigni andal gazdi andai Judea; ke tutar avela iek gazda kai avela o pastuxo murho narodoske Israel.'"

,Şi tu, Betleeme, ţara lui Iuda, nu eşti nici de cum cea mai neînsemnată dintre căpeteniile lui Iuda; căci din tine va ieşi o Căpetenie, care va fi Păstorul poporului Meu Israel.``

και συ βηθλεεμ γη ιουδα ουδαμως ελαχιστη ει εν τοις ηγεμοσιν ιουδα εκ σου γαρ εξελευσεται ηγουμενος οστις ποιμανει τον λαον μου τον ισραηλ

And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.

7.  Porme o Herod chordanes akhardia le manushen kai jinenas le chererhaia, ai phushlia lendar e vorta vriama kai sikadili e chererhai.

Atunci Irod a chemat în ascuns pe magi, şi a aflat întocmai dela ei vremea în care se arătase steaua.

τοτε ηρωδης λαθρα καλεσας τους μαγους ηκριβωσεν παρ αυτων τον χρονον του φαινομενου αστερος

Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, inquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.

8.  Wo tradia len ande Bethlehem ai phendia lenge, "Zhan ai roden

Apoi i -a trimes la Betleem, şi le -a zis: ,,duceţi-vă de

και πεμψας αυτους εις βηθλεεμ ειπεν πορευθεντες ακριβως

And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search

mishto la glata; ai kana arakhena les, phenena i mange, te zhav vi me te preznaiv ai te luvudiv les."

cercetaţi cu deamăruntul despre Prunc: şi cînd Îl veţi găsi, daţi-mi şi mie de ştire, ca să vin şi eu să mă închin Lui.``

εξετασατε περι του παιδιου επαν δε ευρητε απαγγειλατε μοι οπως καγω ελθων προσκυνησω αυτω

diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.

9.  Kana ashunde ka o amperato, geletar. Ai e chererhai kai dikhlesas ando Easto, zhalas anglal lende, zhi pon aresle po than kai sas e glata.

După ce au ascultat pe împăratul, magii au plecat. Şi iată că steaua, pe care o văzuseră în Răsărit, mergea înaintea lor, pînă ce a venit şi s'a oprit deasupra locului unde era Pruncul.

οι δε ακουσαντες του βασιλεως επορευθησαν και ιδου ο αστηρ ον ειδον εν τη ανατολη προηγεν αυτους εως ελθων εστη επανω ου ην το παιδιον

When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.

10.  Kana dikhle e chererhai, raduisaile zurales.

Cînd au văzut ei steaua, n'au mai putut de bucurie.

ιδοντες δε τον αστερα εχαρησαν χαραν μεγαλην σφοδρα

When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.

11.  Kana aresle ando kher, dikhle la glata peska dasa e Maria. Thode pe ande changende ai preznaisarde ai luvudisarde les, porme phuterde penge gone, ai dine les podarki: sumnakai, frankincense ai mirrh.

Au intrat în casă, au văzut Pruncul cu Maria, mama Lui, s'au aruncat cu faţa la pămînt, şi I s'au închinat; apoi şi-au deschis vistieriile, şi I-au adus daruri: aur, tămîie şi smirnă.

In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.

Atunci diavolul L -a lăsat. Şi deodată au venit la Isus nişte îngeri, şi au început să -I slujească.

Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee;

A părăsit Nazaretul, şi a venit de a locuit în Capernaum, lîngă mare, în ţinutul lui Zabulon şi Neftali,

And leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and Nephthalim:

14.  Te pherdiol so o profet o Isaiah phendias,

That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying,

The land of Zabulon, and the land of Nephthalim, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles;

From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.

And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Ferice de cei milostivi, căci ei vor avea parte de milă!

Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

Bucuraţi-vă şi veseliţi-vă, pentrucă răsplata voastră este mare în ceruri; căci tot aşa au prigonit pe proorocii, cari au fost înainte de voi.

χαιρετε και αγαλλιασθε οτι ο μισθος υμων πολυς εν τοις ουρανοις ουτως γαρ εδιωξαν τους προφητας τους προ υμων

Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

13.  "Tume san o lon pe kadia phuv. Numa o lon te xasarela pesko skuso sar kerena anda leste pale londo? Chi mai avela kanchesko, ferdi te avel shudino avri, te phiren le manush opral.

Voi sînteţi sarea pămîntului. Dar dacă sarea îşi pierde gustul, prin ce îşi va căpăta iarăş puterea de a săra? Atunci nu mai este bună la nimic decît să fie lepădată afară, şi călcată în picioare de oameni.

υμεις εστε το αλας της γης εαν δε το αλας μωρανθη εν τινι αλισθησεται εις ουδεν ισχυει ετι ει μη βληθηναι εξω και καταπατεισθαι υπο των ανθρωπων

Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

Voi sînteţi lumina lumii. O cetate aşezată pe un munte, nu poate să rămînă ascunsă.

υμεις εστε το φως του κοσμου ου δυναται πολις κρυβηναι επανω ορους κειμενη

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

Şi oamenii n'aprind lumina ca s'o pună supt obroc, ci o pun în sfeşnic, şi luminează tuturor celor din casă.

ουδε καιουσιν λυχνον και τιθεασιν αυτον υπο τον μοδιον αλλ επι την λυχνιαν και λαμπει πασιν τοις εν τη οικια

Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

16.  Kadia trobul tumari vediara te strefial anglal manush, kashte te dikhen o mishtimos kai keren , ai te luvudin tumare Dades kai si ando rhaio.

Tot aşa să lumineze şi lumina voastră înaintea oamenilor, ca ei să vadă faptele voastre bune, şi să slăvească pe Tatăl vostru, care este în ceruri.

ουτως λαμψατω το φως υμων εμπροσθεν των ανθρωπων οπως ιδωσιν υμων τα καλα εργα και δοξασωσιν τον πατερα υμων τον εν τοις ουρανοις

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

17.  "Na gindin ke avilem te parhuvav o zakono vai o sicharimos le profetongo. Chi avilem te rimov le, numa avilem te pherav le.

Să nu credeţi că am venit să stric Legea sau Proorocii; am venit nu să stric, ci să împlinesc.

μη νομισητε οτι ηλθον καταλυσαι τον νομον η τους προφητας ουκ ηλθον καταλυσαι αλλα πληρωσαι

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:

εγω δε λεγω υμιν οτι πας ο οργιζομενος τω αδελφω αυτου εικη ενοχος εσται τη κρισει ος δ αν ειπη τω αδελφω αυτου ρακα ενοχος εσται τω συνεδριω ος δ αν ειπη μωρε ενοχος εσται εις την γεενναν του πυρος

But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;

Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.

Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.

But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Dacă mîna ta cea dreaptă te face să cazi în păcat, taie -o şi leapădă -o dela tine; căci este spre folosul tău să piară unul din mădularele tale, şi să nu-ţi fie aruncat tot trupul în gheenă.

και ει η δεξια σου χειρ σκανδαλιζει σε εκκοψον αυτην και βαλε απο σου συμφερει γαρ σοι ινα αποληται εν των μελων σου και μη ολον το σωμα σου βληθη εις γεενναν

Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.

Să nu juri nici pe capul tău, căci nu poţi face un singur păr alb sau negru.

For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

Şi dacă îmbrăţişaţi cu dragoste numai pe fraţii voştri, ce lucru neobicinuit faceţi? Oare păgînii nu fac la fel?

And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?

Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

Cînd vă rugaţi, să nu fiţi ca făţarnicii, cărora le place să se roage stînd în picioare în sinagogi şi la colţurile uliţelor, pentruca să fie văzuţi de oameni. Adevărat vă spun, că şi-au luat răsplata.

και οταν προσευχη ουκ εση ωσπερ οι υποκριται οτι φιλουσιν εν ταις συναγωγαις και εν ταις γωνιαις των πλατειων εστωτες προσευχεσθαι οπως αν φανωσιν τοις ανθρωποις αμην λεγω υμιν οτι απεχουσιν τον μισθον αυτων

And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

6.  Numa tu, kana rhugis tu, zha ande chi soba, phandav o wudar, ai rhugisavo ka cho Dat kai si ando than kai chi dikhel les khonik. Ai cho Dat kai dikhel so keres kana san korkorho, dela tut so manges.

Ci tu, cînd te rogi, intră în odăiţa ta, încuie-ţi uşa, şi roagă-te Tatălui tău, care este în ascuns; şi Tatăl tău, care vede în ascuns, îţi va răsplăti.

συ δε οταν προσευχη εισελθε εις το ταμιειον σου και κλεισας την θυραν σου προσευξαι τω πατρι σου τω εν τω κρυπτω και ο πατηρ σου ο βλεπων εν τω κρυπτω αποδωσει σοι εν τω φανερω

Să nu vă asemănaţi cu ei; căci Tatăl vostru ştie de ce aveţi trebuinţă, mai înainte ca să -I cereţi voi.

μη ουν ομοιωθητε αυτοις οιδεν γαρ ο πατηρ υμων ων χρειαν εχετε προ του υμας αιτησαι αυτον

Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

Iată dar cum trebuie să vă rugaţi: ,,Tatăl nostru care eşti în ceruri! Sfinţească-se Numele Tău;

After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10.  Chi amperetsia te avel. Chi voia te kerdiol pe phuv sar ando rhaio.

vie împărăţia Ta; facă-se voia Ta, precum în cer şi pe pămînt.

ελθετω η βασιλεια σου γενηθητω το θελημα σου ως εν ουρανω και επι της γης

Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11.  De amen adies amaro manrho sar swako dies.

Pînea noastră cea de toate zilele (Sau: pentru mîne.) dă-ne -o nouă astăzi;

τον αρτον ημων τον επιουσιον δος ημιν σημερον

Give us this day our daily bread.

12.  Iertisar amare bezexa, sar vi ame iertis kodolen kai keren bezexa karing amende.

şi ne iartă nouă greşelile noastre, precum şi noi iertăm greşiţilor noştri (Greceşte: Lasă-ne datoriile noastre, cum şi noi am lăsat pe ale datornicilor noştri.);

και αφες ημιν τα οφειληματα ημων ως και ημεις αφιεμεν τοις οφειλεταις ημων

And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13.  Na mek ame te zhas ando zumaimos, numa skepisar ame katar o nasul iek. Ke tute si e amperetsia, e putiera, ai o barimos zhi pon godi.' 'Amen'

şi nu ne duce în ispită, ci izbăveşte-ne de cel rău. Căci a Ta este împărăţia şi puterea şi slava în veci. Amin!

και μη εισενεγκης ημας εις πειρασμον αλλα ρυσαι ημας απο του πονηρου οτι σου εστιν η βασιλεια και η δυναμις και η δοξα εις τους αιωνας αμην

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

14.  "Te iertina le manushenge dosha, vi tumaro Dat kai si ando rhaio iertila tumen:

Dacă iertaţi oamenilor greşelile lor, şi Tatăl vostru cel ceresc vă va ierta greşelile voastre.

οπως μη φανης τοις ανθρωποις νηστευων αλλα τω πατρι σου τω εν τω κρυπτω και ο πατηρ σου ο βλεπων εν τω κρυπτω αποδωσει σοι εν τω φανερω

That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.

Nu vă strîngeţi comori pe pămînt, unde le mănîncă moliile şi rugina, şi unde le sapă şi le fură hoţii;

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Ochiul este lumina trupului. Dacă ochiul tău este sănătos, tot trupul tău va fi plin de lumină;

ο λυχνος του σωματος εστιν ο οφθαλμος εαν ουν ο οφθαλμος σου απλους η ολον το σωμα σου φωτεινον εσται

The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

23.  Numa te avena nasul che iakha, sa cho stato avela pherdo tuniariko. Antunchi te si e vediara ande tute tuniariko, sode de baro tuniariko!

dar dacă ochiul tău este rău, tot trupul tău va fi plin de întunerec. Aşa că, dacă lumina care este în tine este întunerec, cît de mare trebuie să fie întunerecul acesta!

εαν δε ο οφθαλμος σου πονηρος η ολον το σωμα σου σκοτεινον εσται ει ουν το φως το εν σοι σκοτος εστιν το σκοτος ποσον

But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

Şi de ce vă îngrijoraţi de îmbrăcăminte? Uitaţi-vă cu băgare de seamă cum cresc crinii de pe cîmp: ei nici nu torc, nici nu ţes;

And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

30.  Te huriarvela O Del kadia e char kai si pel kimpuria adies, ai kai terhara avela shudini ande iag. Sode mai but huriarvela tumen, manush kai si tume xantsi pachamos?

Judge not, that ye be not judged.

Căci cu ce judecată judecaţi, veţi fi judecaţi; şi cu ce măsură măsuraţi, vi se va măsura.

5.  Tu manush kai ankerdios so chi san! Ankalav mai anglal o stilpo anda chiri iakh, ai porme dikhesa dosta de mishto te ankalaves e tsipliga kai si ande iakh che phraleske.

Făţarnicule, scoate întîi bîrna din ochiul tău, şi atunci vei vedea desluşit să scoţi paiul din ochiul fratelui tău.

υποκριτα εκβαλε πρωτον την δοκον εκ του οφθαλμου σου και τοτε διαβλεψεις εκβαλειν το καρφος εκ του οφθαλμου του αδελφου σου

Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Îi veţi cunoaşte după roadele lor. Culeg oamenii struguri din spini, sau smochine din mărăcini?

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Pe cînd intra Isus în Capernaum, s'a apropiat de El un sutaş, care -L ruga

εισελθοντι δε τω ιησου εις καπερναουμ προσηλθεν αυτω εκατονταρχος παρακαλων αυτον

And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,

And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.

7.  O Jesus phendia leske, "Avav te sastiarav les."

Isus i -a zis: ,,Am să vin şi să -l tămăduiesc.``

και λεγει αυτω ο ιησους εγω ελθων θεραπευσω αυτον

And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.

8.  Numa o kapitano phendias leske, "Gazda, chi sim dosta de lasho te aves ande murho kher. Numa phen e vorba, ai murho sluga avela sasto.

,,Doamne``, a răspuns sutaşul, ,,nu sînt vrednic să intri supt acoperemîntul meu; ci zi numai un cuvînt, şi robul meu va fi tămăduit.

και αποκριθεις ο εκατονταρχος εφη κυριε ουκ ειμι ικανος ινα μου υπο την στεγην εισελθης αλλα μονον ειπε λογον και ιαθησεται ο παις μου

The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

9.  Ke vi me si aver bare pe mande, ai telal murho vas si ketani. Phenav iekeske 'Zha! ai zhal; phenav avreske 'Aidi!' ai avel; ai phenav murha slugake, 'Ker kacha!' ai kerel."

Căci şi eu sînt om supt stăpînire; am supt mine ostaşi, şi zic unuia: ,Du-te!` şi se duce; altuia: ,Vino!` şi vine; şi robului meu: ,Fă cutare lucru!` şi -l face.

και γαρ εγω ανθρωπος ειμι υπο εξουσιαν εχων υπ εμαυτον στρατιωτας και λεγω τουτω πορευθητι και πορευεται και αλλω ερχου και ερχεται και τω δουλω μου ποιησον τουτο και ποιει

For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.

When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

Dar vă spun că vor veni mulţi dela răsărit şi dela apus, şi vor sta la masă cu Avraam, Isaac şi Iacov în Împărăţia cerurilor.

λεγω δε υμιν οτι πολλοι απο ανατολων και δυσμων ηξουσιν και ανακλιθησονται μετα αβρααμ και ισαακ και ιακωβ εν τη βασιλεια των ουρανων

And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.

But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother laid, and sick of a fever.

And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.

When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:

οπως πληρωθη το ρηθεν δια ησαιου του προφητου λεγοντος αυτος τας ασθενειας ημων ελαβεν και τας νοσους εβαστασεν

That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

Isus a văzut multe noroade împrejurul Său, şi a poruncit să treacă de cealaltă parte.

Now when Jesus saw great multitudes about him, he gave commandment to depart unto the other side.

And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.

Isus i -a răspuns: ,,Vulpile au vizuini, şi păsările cerului au cuiburi; dar Fiul omului n'are unde-Şi odihni capul.``

και λεγει αυτω ο ιησους αι αλωπεκες φωλεους εχουσιν και τα πετεινα του ουρανου κατασκηνωσεις ο δε υιος του ανθρωπου ουκ εχει που την κεφαλην κλινη

And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.

And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.

Ucenicii s'au apropiat de El, şi L-au deşteptat, strigînd: ,,Doamne, scapă-ne, că pierim!``

και προσελθοντες οι μαθηται αυτου ηγειραν αυτον λεγοντες κυριε σωσον ημας απολλυμεθα

And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.

26.  O Jesus phendia lenge, "Che xantsi pachamos si tume! Sostar daran kadia zurales?" Wushtilo ai dia mui pe barval ai pe maria, ai kerdili bari hodina.

El le -a zis: ,,De ce vă este frică, puţin credincioşilor?`` Apoi S'a sculat, a certat vînturile şi marea, şi s'a făcut o linişte mare.

και λεγει αυτοις τι δειλοι εστε ολιγοπιστοι τοτε εγερθεις επετιμησεν τοις ανεμοις και τη θαλασση και εγενετο γαληνη μεγαλη

And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

Oamenii aceia se mirau, şi ziceau: ,,Ce fel de om este acesta, de -L ascultă pînă şi vînturile şi marea?``

οι δε ανθρωποι εθαυμασαν λεγοντες ποταπος εστιν ουτος οτι και οι ανεμοι και η θαλασσα υπακουουσιν αυτω

But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!

Cînd a ajuns Isus de partea cealaltă, în ţinutul Gadarenilor, L-au întîmpinat doi îndrăciţi, cari ieşeau din morminte. Erau aşa de cumpliţi, că nimeni nu putea trece pe drumul acela.

και ελθοντι αυτω εις το περαν εις την χωραν των γεργεσηνων υπηντησαν αυτω δυο δαιμονιζομενοι εκ των μνημειων εξερχομενοι χαλεποι λιαν ωστε μη ισχυειν τινα παρελθειν δια της οδου εκεινης

And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.

,,Duceţi-vă``, le -a zis El. Ei au ieşit, şi au intrat în porci. Şi deodată toată turma s'a repezit de pe rîpă în mare, şi a pierit în ape.

και ειπεν αυτοις υπαγετε οι δε εξελθοντες απηλθον εις την αγελην των χοιρων και ιδου ωρμησεν πασα η αγελη των χοιρων κατα του κρημνου εις την θαλασσαν και απεθανον εν τοις υδασιν

And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.

1.  O Jesus anklisto ando chuno, nakhlo inchal e maria, ai gelo ande pesko foro.

Isus S'a suit într'o corabie, a trecut marea, şi a venit în cetatea Sa.

και εμβας εις το πλοιον διεπερασεν και ηλθεν εις την ιδιαν πολιν

And he entered into a ship, and passed over, and came into his own city.

And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.

And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?

For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be

Dar, ca să ştiţi că Fiul omului are putere pe pămînt să ierte păcatele, -,,Scoală-te``, a zis El slăbănogului, ,,ridică-ţi patul, şi du-te acasă.``

ινα δε ειδητε οτι εξουσιαν εχει ο υιος του ανθρωπου επι της γης αφιεναι αμαρτιας τοτε λεγει τω παραλυτικω εγερθεις αρον σου την κλινην και υπαγε εις τον οικον σου

But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.

But when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men.

But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.

Duceţi-vă de învăţaţi ce înseamnă: ,Milă voiesc, iar nu jertfă!` Căci n'am venit să chem la pocăinţă pe cei neprihăniţi, ci pe cei păcătoşi.``

πορευθεντες δε μαθετε τι εστιν ελεον θελω και ου θυσιαν ου γαρ ηλθον καλεσαι δικαιους αλλ αμαρτωλους εις μετανοιαν

But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Atunci ucenicii lui Ioan au venit la Isus, şi I-au zis: ,,De ce noi şi Fariseii postim des, iar ucenicii Tăi nu postesc de loc?``

τοτε προσερχονται αυτω οι μαθηται ιωαννου λεγοντες δια τι ημεις και οι φαρισαιοι νηστευομεν πολλα οι δε μαθηται σου ου νηστευουσιν

Then came to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not?

15.  O Jesus phendia lenge, "Sar sai zhelin le manush kai si akharde ka abiav, kana o manush kai ansurilpe lensa le? Numa avela e vriama kai o manush kai ansurilpe avela lino lendar, antunchi zhonina.

Isus le -a răspuns: ,,Se pot jăli nuntaşii cîtă vreme este mirele cu ei? Vor veni zile, cînd mirele va fi luat dela ei, şi atunci vor posti.

και ειπεν αυτοις ο ιησους μη δυνανται οι υιοι του νυμφωνος πενθειν εφ οσον μετ αυτων εστιν ο νυμφιος ελευσονται δε ημεραι οταν απαρθη απ αυτων ο νυμφιος και τοτε νηστευσουσιν

And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast.

Nimeni nu pune un petec de postav nou la o haină veche; pentrucă şi-ar lua umplutura din haină, şi ruptura ar fi mai rea.

No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse.

But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it.

După ce a fost scos dracul din el, mutul a vorbit. Şi noroadele, mirate, ziceau: ,,Niciodată nu s'a văzut aşa ceva în Israel!``

And when the devil was cast out, the dumb spake: and the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel.

Isus străbătea toate cetăţile şi satele, învăţînd pe norod în sinagogi, propovăduind Evanghelia Împărăţiei, şi vindecînd orice fel de boală şi orice fel de neputinţă, care era în norod.

Vindecaţi pe bolnavi, înviaţi pe morţi, curăţiţi pe leproşi, scoateţi afară dracii. Fără plată aţi primit, fără plată să daţi.

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

Să nu luaţi nici aur, nici argint, nici aramă în brîele voastre,

Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses,

And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

Adevărat vă spun că, în ziua judecăţii, va fi mai uşor pentru ţinutul Sodomei şi Gomorei, decît pentru cetatea aceea.

αμην λεγω υμιν ανεκτοτερον εσται γη σοδομων και γομορρων εν ημερα κρισεως η τη πολει εκεινη

Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

21.  O phral purhila peske phrales te mudaren les, ai o dat purhila peska glata; le glate xoliavona pe pengo dat, ai pengi dei ai kerena te mudaren le.

Fratele va da la moarte pe frate-său, şi tatăl pe copilul lui; copiii se vor scula împotriva părinţilor lor, şi -i vor omorî.

παραδωσει δε αδελφος αδελφον εις θανατον και πατηρ τεκνον και επαναστησονται τεκνα επι γονεις και θανατωσουσιν αυτους

And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.

22.  Sa le manush vurhitsina tumen pala mande. Numa kodo kai rhevdila ai inkerela zhando gor, avela skepime.

Veţi fi urîţi de toţi, din pricina Numelui Meu; dar cine va răbda pînă la sfîrşit, va fi mîntuit.

και εσεσθε μισουμενοι υπο παντων δια το ονομα μου ο δε υπομεινας εις τελος ουτος σωθησεται

And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

23.  Kana chinuina tumen andek foro, zhan ande aver. Phenav tumenge o chachimos, chi aresena te zhan ande sa le foruria ande Israel, mai anglal sar O Shav le Manushesko te avel.

Cînd vă vor prigoni într'o cetate, să fugiţi într'alta. Adevărat vă spun că nu veţi isprăvi de străbătut cetăţile lui Israel pînă va veni Fiul omului.

οταν δε διωκωσιν υμας εν τη πολει ταυτη φευγετε εις την αλλην αμην γαρ λεγω υμιν ου μη τελεσητε τας πολεις του ισραηλ εως αν ελθη ο υιος του ανθρωπου

But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.

24.  Chi iek kai sichol nai mai baro sar kodo kai sicharel les, ai chi iek sluga nai mai bari sar pesko gazda.

Ucenicul nu este mai pe sus de învăţătorul său, nici robul mai pe sus de domnul său.

ουκ εστιν μαθητης υπερ τον διδασκαλον ουδε δουλος υπερ τον κυριον αυτου

The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.

25.  Dosta kodoleske kai sichol te kerdiol sar kodo kai sicharel les, ai e sluga te kerdiol sar pesko gazda. Ai won te akharena le gazdas le kheresko, Beelzebub, sode mai but akharena le manushen kai beshen ande lesko kher!

Ajunge ucenicului să fie ca învăţătorul lui, şi robului să fie ca domnul lui. Dacă pe Stăpînul casei L-au numit Beelzebul, cu cît mai mult vor numi aşa, pe cei din casa lui?

αρκετον τω μαθητη ινα γενηται ως ο διδασκαλος αυτου και ο δουλος ως ο κυριος αυτου ει τον οικοδεσποτην {VAR1: βεελζεβουλ } {VAR2: βεελζεβουβ } εκαλεσαν ποσω μαλλον τους οικιακους αυτου

It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?

26.  Anda kodia na daran lendar. Ke nai khanchi wusharado kai chi avela sikado; ai nai khanchi garado kai chi avela zhanglo.

Aşa că să nu vă temeţi de ei. Căci nu este nimic ascuns care nu va fi descoperit, şi nimic tăinuit care nu va fi cunoscut.

μη ουν φοβηθητε αυτους ουδεν γαρ εστιν κεκαλυμμενον ο ουκ αποκαλυφθησεται και κρυπτον ο ου γνωσθησεται

Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.

27.  So phenava tuke ando tuniariko tu phen adiese; ai so ashunes phendo tuke ando khan, phen pal khera opral.

Ce vă spun Eu la întunerec, voi să spuneţi la lumină; şi ce auziţi şoptindu-se la ureche, să propovăduiţi de pe acoperişul

ο λεγω υμιν εν τη σκοτια ειπατε εν τω φωτι και ο εις το ους ακουετε κηρυξατε επι των δωματων

What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.

Nu vă temeţi de cei ce ucid trupul, dar cari nu pot ucide sufletul; ci temeţi-vă mai degrabă de Celce poate să piardă şi sufletul şi trupul în gheenă.

και μη φοβηθητε απο των αποκτεινοντων το σωμα την δε ψυχην μη δυναμενων αποκτειναι φοβηθητε δε μαλλον τον δυναμενον και ψυχην και σωμα απολεσαι εν γεεννη

And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

29.  Nai bichinde dui chiriklia pe iek pena; numa chi iek anda lende chi perel pe phuv bi te zhanel cho Dat.

Nu se vînd oare două vrăbii la un ban? Totuş, nici una din ele nu cade pe pămînt fără voia Tatălui vostru.

ουχι δυο στρουθια ασσαριου πωλειται και εν εξ αυτων ου πεσειται επι την γην ανευ του πατρος υμων

Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.

30.  Ai vi le bal ande tumaro shero sa jindo le.

Cît despre voi, pînă şi perii din cap, toţi vă sînt număraţi.

υμων δε και αι τριχες της κεφαλης πασαι ηριθμημεναι εισιν

But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

31.  Anda kodia na dara, ke tu mos mai but sar but chiriklia!"

Deci să nu vă temeţi; voi sînteţi mai de preţ decît multe vrăbii.

μη ουν φοβηθητε πολλων στρουθιων διαφερετε υμεις

Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

32.  Kon godi mothola ke si murho anglal manush, i me phenava ke si murho angla murho Dat kai si ando rhaio.

Deaceea, pe orişicine Mă va mărturisi înaintea oamenilor, îl voi mărturisi şi Eu înaintea Tatălui Meu care este în ceruri;

πας ουν οστις ομολογησει εν εμοι εμπροσθεν των ανθρωπων ομολογησω καγω εν αυτω εμπροσθεν του πατρος μου του εν ουρανοις

Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

33.  Numa kon godi mothola ke nai murho anglal manush, vi me mothava ke nai murho angla murho Dat kai si ando rhaio.

dar de oricine se va lepăda de Mine înaintea oamenilor, Mă voi lepăda şi Eu înaintea Tatălui Meu care este în ceruri.

οστις δ αν αρνησηται με εμπροσθεν των ανθρωπων αρνησομαι αυτον καγω εμπροσθεν του πατρος μου του εν ουρανοις

But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

34.  Na gindin ke avilem te anav pacha pe phuv, chi avilem te anav pacha, numa e sabia.

Să nu credeţi că am venit s'aduc pacea pe pămînt; n'am venit să aduc pacea, ci sabia.

μη νομισητε οτι ηλθον βαλειν ειρηνην επι την γην ουκ ηλθον βαλειν ειρηνην αλλα μαχαιραν

Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

35.  Ke avilem te hulavav le shaves katar o dat, la sha katar e dei, ai e bori katar e sakra;

Căci am venit să despart pe fiu de tatăl său, pe fiică de mamă-sa, şi pe noră de soacră-sa.

ηλθον γαρ διχασαι ανθρωπον κατα του πατρος αυτου και θυγατερα κατα της μητρος αυτης και νυμφην κατα της πενθερας αυτης

For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

36.  Le manusheske duzhmaia avena kodola kai si ande lesko kher.

Şi omul va avea de vrăjmaşi chiar pe cei din casa lui.

και εχθροι του ανθρωπου οι οικιακοι αυτου

And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

37.  Kon godi si leske mai drago lesko dat vai leski dei mai but sar me chi mol dosta te avel pala mande; kon godi si leske mai drago lesko shav vai leski shei mai but sar me chi mol dosta te avel pala

Cine iubeşte pe tată, ori pe mamă, mai mult decît pe Mine, nu este vrednic de Mine; şi cine iubeşte pe fiu ori pe fiică mai mult decît pe Mine, nu este vrednic de Mine.

ο φιλων πατερα η μητερα υπερ εμε ουκ εστιν μου αξιος και ο φιλων υιον η θυγατερα υπερ εμε ουκ εστιν μου αξιος

He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

39.  Kodo kai arakhela pesko traio xasarela les; numa kodo kai xasarela pesko traio pala mande arakhela les.

Cine îşi va păstra viaţa, o va pierde; şi cine îşi va pierde viaţa, pentru Mine, o va cîştiga.

ο ευρων την ψυχην αυτου απολεσει αυτην και ο απολεσας την ψυχην αυτου ενεκεν εμου ευρησει αυτην

He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

40.  O manush kai primil tumen primil man; ai o manush kai primil man primil kodoles kai tradia man.

Cine vă primeşte pe voi, Mă primeşte pe Mine; şi cine Mă primeşte pe Mine, primeşte pe Cel ce M'a trimes pe Mine.

ο δεχομενος υμας εμε δεχεται και ο εμε δεχομενος δεχεται τον αποστειλαντα με

He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

41.  Kodo kai primila profeto ke si profeto lela o mishtimos kai avel ka profeto, kon godi primila chache manushes ke si chacho manush lela o mishtimos kai avel ka chacho manush."

Cine primeşte un prooroc, în numele unui prooroc, va primi răsplata unui prooroc; şi cine primeşte pe un om neprihănit, în numele unui om neprihănit, va primi răsplata unui om neprihănit.

ο δεχομενος προφητην εις ονομα προφητου μισθον προφητου ληψεται και ο δεχομενος δικαιον εις ονομα δικαιου μισθον δικαιου ληψεται

He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.

42.  Ai te dela vare kon ek daxtai shudro pai kai iek anda kadala tsinorhe ke si murho disipluria. Me phenava tuke chachimos, chi xasarel pesko mishtimos."

Şi oricine va da de băut numai un pahar de apă rece unuia din aceşti micuţi, în numele unui ucenic, adevărat vă spun că nu-şi va pierde răsplata.``

και ος εαν ποτιση ενα των μικρων τουτων ποτηριον ψυχρου μονον εις ονομα μαθητου αμην λεγω υμιν ου μη απολεση τον μισθον αυτου

And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.
