A SOLUTION COMPLIANT WITH THE CLASSIFICATION OF MTQ TABLE 13101-1 :• MTQ Type II : Reinforcement of unpaved roadway structure or

of low resistance soil;• MTQ Type III : Drainage trenches in fine soils (>50 % with 80 μ sieve)

– Anticontamination infrastructure – Separation of two soil types; MTQ Type IV : Drainage trenches in coarse soils (<50 % with 80 μ sieve) – Filter behind wall;

• MTQ Type V : Shore protection by rockfill;• MTQ Type VI : Ditch protection by granular cover.

Based on the 76 Series, the Georoute Series is optimized for road works and meets the specific requirements of the Ministère des Transports du Québec (MTQ) in all respects. This line comes in several types of products (from Type I to Type VI), each having particular functions adapted to the type of work performed within the framework of road building projects. GEOROUTE, properties which make a difference

Properties measured Test method Unit Interpretation

Mechanical

Surface density ASTM D5261 g/m² Measures the density of the material in order to evaluate its protection capacity.

Breaking strength

CGSB 148.1-7.3 NIndicates the geotextile's capacity to absorb tensile forces before reaching its breaking point.

Breaking elongation

CGSB 148.1-7.3 % Quantifies the elongation the product can bear before breaking.

HydraulicFiltration opening

size FOSCGSB 148.1-10 μm

Indicates the size of soil particles which can pass through the geotextile under hydrodynamic conditions.

A LINE OF PRODUCTS MEETING THE REQUIREMENTS OF TABLE 13101 OF THE MINISTÈRE DES TRANSPORTS DU QUÉBEC :

• Georoute Type 2 and Georoute Geo-9 comply with MTQ Type II requirements;

• Georoute Type 3 & 4 complies with MTQ Type III and MTQ Type IV requirements;

• Georoute Type 5 complies with MTQ Type V requirements;

• Georoute Type 6 complies with MTQ Type VI requirements.

THE BNQ CERTIFIED GEOROUTE TEXEL LINE, A GUARANTEE OF QUALITY

The certification of geotextiles in Quebec by the Bureau de normalisation du Québec (BNQ) is based on the technical criteria of the GCTTG 3001-06 specification which imposes maximum variation tolerances for 8 properties related to the evaluation of the quality of geotextiles used in roadwork :

• Mechanical properties : - Resistance to traction - Breaking elongation - Puncture resistance - Tearing strength - Bursting resistance

Furthermore, the GCTTG 3001-06 specification sets certain obligations regarding packaging, labeling and identification of products. The compliance of Texel geotextiles to BNQ requirements is confirmed by a compliance certificate issued for the factories as well as by the publication of information regarding the type of geotextile and the product specifications of the Georoute line.

• Hydraulic properties : - Permittivity - Filtration opening size (FOS)• Sustainability properties : - Resistance to UV rays (500 h)
