GECAM consists of two small satellites (~140 kg)

– 100% FOV, 6 keV to 5 MeV, moderate localization (~1 deg)

– Real-time (minutes) alerts for each satellite

Selected as the first Mission of Opportunity in China,

officially announced in July 4, 2018

Progress well, aiming for launch by the end of 2020
