New Coleman Model 101 Hitachi Spectrophotometer covers the range from 220 to 900 ιτίμ, where 9 5 ' f of all analytical spectrophotometry data is obtained. Its photometric accuracy and stray light characteristics are the equal of instruments costing twice as much.

Operation is simple. When you open the sample compartment, an interlock mechanism automatically protects the optical system. You insert the cell holder, containing reference and three sample cells, and adjust for zero without any further manipulations.

Then shut the compartment, set 100';; Τ and run three determinations in rapid sequence without re-opening the sample compartment. Wavelength scale is linear. The digital wavelength readout is located right next to the t ransmi t tance/ absorbance meter.

And there's no detector switching. This exclusive Hitachi dual-range phototube covers the complete UV-Visible range of Model 101, eliminates time-consuming stops in the middle of an operation. I t prevents errors due to faulty tube positioning.
