Dr. Anastasios Alexandridis, Executive Vice Chairman, Greek International Business Association (SEVE), Professor at the Technological Educational Institute of Western MacedoniaDr. Anastasios Alexandridis is a Professor at the Technological Educational Institute of Western Macedonia - Department of Business Administration. He is a graduate of the Department of Economics of the Higher Industrial School of Thessaloniki with a DEA in Mathematical Economy and Econometrics of the University of AIX - MARSEILLE III and a PhD Thesis in Economic Sciences, University of Macedonia - Department of Economics. Since 2009, he is SEVE’s Executive Vice President.

Dr. Andreas A. Andreadis, President of the BοD of SETE (Confederation of Greek Tourism)Dr. Andreas A. Andreadis graduated as a Civil Engineer from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and has a PhD from the University of London (UK). He is the CEO of SANI S.A. which owns Sani Resort in Kassandra, Halkidiki as well as the CEO of Andreadis - Zissiadis S.A., a construction company operating in the public and private sector, while recently has been appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of the Bank of Greece. Dr. Andreadis was President of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Hotel Federation for five years (2006-2011). Since 2011 he is President of the Board of Directors of SETE (Confederation of Greek Tourism), also President of Marketing Greece S.A. and INSETE (SETE Institute).

Ms. Lesley Batchelor OBE - Director General of the Institute of Export (IOE)Lesley Batchelor is a champion of UK exporters, with a powerful track record in enhancing the performance of hundreds of businesses. Appointed Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) by Queen Elizabeth II in her 2014 birthday honours, for services to Business. Lesley became director general of the Institute of Export (IOE), a charity, in 2010 after a three-year elected tenure as chairman and CEO.

Mr. David Bischof, Policy Manager, International Chamber of CommerceDavid Bischof joined the Banking Commission at the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in 2009. As Policy manager, he supports the management of the ICC Banking Commission and supervises specific projects, including the establishment of the ICC Trade Finance Register project. Additionally, his current responsibility with ICC includes the implementation of the new Supply Chain Finance streamline, namely the new BPO rules. David holds a Master’s degree in international affairs and governance from the University of St.Gallen/Switzerland (HSG). He previously studied at Sciences Po Institute, Paris and University of Geneva/Switzerland.

Mr. Vassili Christidis, CEO at Euler Hermes HellasMr. Vassili Christidis took over since 02/09/2013 as CEO for Euler Hermes Hellas. Mr. Christidis began his career as a market analyst at MK International in London. In 2002 he moved to Piraeus Bank in London as Corporate Banking Officer. He then held roles of increasing responsibility at BNP Paribas in Athens and Istanbul, most recently as a Director and Head of Credit Management in the Corporate and Investment Banking Division. Mr. Vassili Christidis holds an MBA from the Cass Business School in London, an MSc in Ιnternational Βusiness from the Manchester School of Management (UMIST) and a BSc in Εconomics from the University of Macedonia. He speaks English, French, Italian and Turkish.

Mr. Declan Costello, Director, Directorate General for Economic & Financial Affairs EUDeclan Costello has a Degree in Economics from Trinity College Dublin and a Masters’ Degree from the College of Europe in Bruges. He joined the European Commission in 1991 and has worked in DG ECFIN (barring a 9 month secondment to the Portuguese Ministry of Finance) as an economist up until 2012. From 2012-2014 he was acting Director for Resources and Communication in ECFIN. He was appointed Director of Directorate F - Economies of the Member States I - in May 2014. He is also Mission Chief for the European Commission’s team working on Greece as part of the Troika.

Mrs. Andrea Engel, Senior Country Officer, IFCAndrea Engel is a Senior Country Officer at IFC, the private sector arm of the World Bank Group. She manages relations with the EU institutions as well as with Belgium, Cyprus, Greece and Luxembourg, where she is also responsible for business development. Before taking up her current position she was IFC’s Chief of Stakeholder Relations.

Dr. Yannis Hajidimitriou, Professor, Department of Business Administration, University of MacedoniaDr. Yannis Hajidimitriou is Professor in International Business at the Department of Business Administration, University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki, Greece. Professor Hajidimitriou served as Rector of the University of Macedonia from September 2010 to August 2014. He also served as Chairman and as Vice Chairman of the MBA Program, as Chairman of the Department of Marketing and Operations Management, and as Vice Chairman of the Department of Business Administration. Recently he was appointed Director of the M.A. Program in International Business. Professor Hajidimitriou is holding an M.A. and a PhD in Economics from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Stony Brook, USA. Professor Hajidimitriou is an honorary member of the Board of Directors of the Greek International Business Association (SEVE), representing the University of Macedonia.

Mr. Dimitris Iatridis, Special Secretary for Community Resources and Infrastructure, Ministry of Rural Development and FoodMr. Iatridis studied Economics and International Relations (B.A.) at Brown University in the United States and Law (LL.B.) at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, United Kingdom. He gained a Masters Degree (MSc) in Applied Economics and Finance, and later, an MBA at the Athens University of Economics and Business. He, also, completed the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government ‘Public Leaders in Southeast Europe’ Program. Mr. Iatridis served as adviser in the Greek Parliament and, also, among other assignments, as special adviser to the Minister of Health, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of National Defense.

Dr. Harry Kyriazis, Executive Vice - Chairman at the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises SEVChariton (Harry) Kyriazis holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of London. He worked as an executive in medium sized Greek industrial companies (1982-1991), as Secretary General at the Ministry of National Economy (1992-1993) and as an advisor on taxation and management consulting. He headed the Tax Division (1994-1999) and the Business Consulting Division (1999-2000) of Arthur Andersen, Athens. Then, he became Chairman of PricewaterhouseCoopers Business Solutions S.A., acting as Head the Advisory Business Unit (2000-2008) and the Government Services practice (2008-2011). Since July 2011 he serves as Executive Vice-Chairman at the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises SEV.

Mr. Aggelos Kotsiopoulos, General Manager, Export Credit Insurance Organization (ECIO)Mr. Aggelos Kotsiopoulos is a Law degree graduate from the Democritus University of Thrace. He has been a lawyer since 1982. From 2002 to 2010 he served as Prefectural Councilor. From 2004 to 2010 he held the position of the Vice Prefect of Messinia, President of Finance and Administrative Affairs. In 2010 he was elected the First Regional Councilor throughout the Peloponnese Region. He is the Vice President of the Regional Council of Peloponnese. In 2013 he was appointed to the position of The General Manager of the Export Credit Insurance Organization (ECIO) which he holds until today.

Mr. Dimitris Lakasas, President, Alexander Innovation ZoneDimitris Lakasas is the President of the Alexander Innovation Zone S.A., the managing organization responsible for the entire plan, development and realization of the initiative of the Thessaloniki Innovation Zone. Dimitris Lakasas is the CEO of Olympia Electronics. Olympia Electronics gives great emphasis in innovation, state of the art technology and quality. Olympia Electronics develops and produces high technology safety security systems. Particularly strong is the presence of Olympia Electronics in more than 72 foreign countries world-wide. He was President of the SEVE - Greek International Business Association until May 2014.

Dr. Kyriakos Loufakis, President of the Greek International Business Association (SEVE)Kyriakos Loufakis was elected President of SEVE in May, 2014. He is also the President and CEO of Loufakis Chemicals S.A. Dr. Loufakis holds a PhD, and an MSc from Renselaer Polytechnic Inst. in N. York and a BSc from Aristotelion University of Thessaloniki all in Chemistry. He has won the Fulbright and the Alexander von Humbolt scholarships. He has been a research assistant and guest speaker in several Universities and Institutes in USA, China, Europe and Greece. He has more than 15 publications in Scientific Journals and 9 presentations in conferences. Since 1988, after his return to Greece, he works in the Chemical Industry.

Mr. Dimitrios Malliaropulos, Director of Economic Analysis & Research, Bank of GreeceDimitris Malliaropulos is chief economist and director of economic analysis and research at the Bank of Greece, and professor of finance at the Department of Banking and Financial Management, University of Piraeus. He holds a PhD in economics from the FreieUniversitaet Berlin and has taught economics and finance at Brunel University, London Metropolitan University and FreieUniversitaet Berlin. He has worked in the past as an economist at the Deutsche Bundesbank, the National Bank of Greece and Eurobank and as a quantitative consultant in global asset allocation at Invesco Asset Management.

Ms. Dimitra Manifava, Journalist, Kathimerini NewspaperDimitra Manifava graduated from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 1997 with a degree in communication and mass media. From January 1998 till November 2008 she worked as a reporter for “Avgi” daily newspaper, writing especially for agricultural, energy and retail issues. Since November 2008 she works as a business reporter and Ministry of Development correspondent at “Kathimerini” daily newspaper. She has also worked as agricultural and business editor for “Agelioforos” newspaper and for “Food and Beverages” magazine.

Mr. Panagiotis Mihalos, Secretary General for International Economic Relations, Ministry for Foreign AffairsPanagiotis Mihalos has studied Mathematics and Economics (BSc), then Finance and Business Administration (MBA) at the City University of New York. He started his professional career in Finance and Marketing in the United States, spending 10 years with J. E. Seagram & Sons Inc. in New York. In 1993 he founded “South Real Estate S.A.” He is also the Founder of “Soros Real Estate Partners”, serving as its Managing Director from 2002 to 2004. As the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Panagiotis Mihalos is currently leading all efforts related to Economic Diplomacy in Greece, responsible among others for the promotion of international trade and the attraction of investments.

Mrs. Evy Passa, Senior Director, Group Head - Global Transaction Services, National Bank of Greece S.A.Mrs. Passa is Group Head of Global Transaction Services in National Bank of Greece, with areas of responsibilities including GTS Trade Finance, Payments, Cash Management and Foreign Institution Operations. She also develops and manages the strategies for Trade Finance & Payments Business Development across the group. Before joining NBG, Evy had successful and diversified banking experiences including Corporate Financing, being years as the Head of Trade Finance and Loans Administration Divisions in EFG Eurobank Group, and lead its centralized operation centers as well as Trade Finance business development unit. Evy has a BSc (Honors) in Business Studies from Thames University, UK. She is member of the H.B.A Payments Steering Committee, ICC Trade Finance Committee, SWIFT T.S.U Commercialization Steering Committee, I.FT.A, B.A.F.T, Operations Council, Hellenic Chinese Association and Hellenic Russian Association.

Dr. Nikolaos D. Philippas, Chairman of BoD & Scientific Director, KEPE - Centre of Planning and Economic ResearchNikolaos Philippas is Professor of Financial Management at the Department of Business Administration at University of Piraeus. Professor Philippas has numerous publications in almost all Greek Economic Journals and the relative Financial Press. His academic and professional research is published in global academic journals. From April 1st 2013, Professor Philippas has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors and Scientific Director of the Centre of Planning and Economic Research (KEPE).

Dr. Nikolaos Porfyris, Deputy Chief Operating Officer, Athens Exchange GroupDr. Nikolaos Porfyris is currently Deputy Chief Operating Officer at Athens Exchange Group. He has been with the Athens Exchange Group since 1998 in a number of positions, as Head of Research, Director of Business Development of Derivatives Market, Director of International Affairs and Director of the Central Registry. He has been in the securities industry since 1993 with previous appointments with Fimat- SocieteGenerale Group and HSBC James Capel as quantitative analyst, derivatives analyst and research and dealing, respectively. He holds a first class BS in Physics (University of Athens), PhD in Electrical Engineering (University of Edinburgh) and MBA (Edinburgh University Management School). His previous working experience includes research in the area of Microelectronics and process engineering.

Mr. George Stathakis, Member of the Greek Parliament with SYRIZA, coordinator for the Ministry of DevelopmentGeorge Stathakis is a Professor of Political Economy at the Department of Economics in University of Crete. Significant experience in several Research Centers from 1985, such as the Mediterranean Studies Foundation, the Institute of Computing Technology in Patras, the Center for Byzantine and Modern Greek Studies by Queens College in the City University of New York, the Center for European Studies in Harvard University. Author of the following publications: The Truman Doctrine and the Marshall Plan: The story of American aid in Greece 2004, The Reform of CAP and Rural Development in Southern Europe (Perspectives on Rural Policy and Planning), 2003, Essays on Marx, 1996.

Mr. Reynaldo Vallarino, Business Development by NORTHSTAR Europe S.A.Reynaldo Vallarino works for Northstar Europe S.A. in Luxembourg. He is responsible for Business Development over the past four years, while the previous three years was involved in Loan Documentation in Vancouver. Reynaldo is well versed in the establishment of ECA-backed buyer credits, through various different ECA’s, for small/mid-size ticket transactions. Supporting exporters and importers with setting up foreign-buyer financing since 2006.

Mrs. Maria Velentza, Advisor, EU Commission, Task Force for GreeceMaria Velentza, after graduating from the German School of Athens, continued her studies in Law at the University of Athens, Faculty of Law and in Paris (Université Paris II, Assas) where she obtained a post-university degree in Community law (DEA Droit Communautaire). After qualifying as a lawyer at the Athens bar in 1990, Maria joined the EU Commission in 1992; since then she worked in many policy fields. Maria joined the Task Force for Greece as an Advisor in September 2011; she has been responsible for financial institutions and access to finance policy, business environment, justice and migration issues.

Mr. Giovanni Viani, Head of South - East Europe, Oliver WymanGiovanni Viani is a Partner in Oliver Wyman’s Milan Office. He is responsible for the SEE (South East Europe) market, which includes a team of 13 partners and 70 professionals dedicated to strategy and management consulting, with offices in Milan and Istanbul and covering also Greece, Cyprus and the Balkan area. During his tenure with the Firm he has served most of the top Italian banks and many European banks on retail and business banking, organization, strategy, risk and governance themes. Giovanni has been operating in Greece for the last 3 years, serving Greek banks, national and supranational institutions and regulators on themes related to the restructuring of the Greek banking sector and the possible strategies for its smooth recovery.
