Bali is a beautiful island of Indonesia. Some neighbouring islands are Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan. It is located at the westernmos and its capital is Denpasar. Its population in 2014 was 4,225,384. Their languages are Balinese and Indonesian.

• The animals Bali has are squirrels, bats, two species of monkeys, leopard cat and Sunda pangolin.Also they are snakes like king cobra and reticulated python.

• They are many coral reefs around the coast, particularly around popular diving spots such as Tulamben, Amed Menjangan or neighbouring Nusa Penouda host a wide range of marine life, for instance hawksbill turtle, giant sunfish, giant manta ray, giant moray eel, bumphead parrot fish, hummerhead shark, reef shark, barracuda and sea snakes. Dolphins are commonly encountered on the north coast near Singaraja and Lovina.

There is an incredible variety of spices, blended with the fresh vegetables, meat, fish and fruit.Bali has a strong rice agriculture.

• Bali is renowned for its diverse and sophisticated art forms, such as painting, sculpture, woodcarving, handcrafts, and performing arts.

• Balinese percussion orchestra music, known as gamelan, is highly developed and varied.
