The RaceTop start to ride around the clock! For cycling enthusiasts and

sports challenge seekers, CGO Evenement organises, with the

support of the French Cycling Federation (FFC) and in

partnership with « Le Mans Sarthe Vélo » cycling association, a

team endurance-cycling event called “PEARL iZUMi 24H

Cycling of Le Mans”. Whether you are a trained or amateur

cyclist, work colleagues, friends or family, come and join us! Be

part of this unique gathering of cycling fans and experience 24

memorable hours on this battlefield where the greatest motor-

sport champions already made History: Le Mans Bugatti Circuit.

In August last year, on the prestigious Le Mans Bugatti circuit,

over 15,000 people (riders, staff members and visitors) met for

the 9th edition of the 24 Hours Cycling. The "Le Mans“ start

type, given by François Pervis, will remain a highlight of the

weekend with on one hand, bikes lined up over 400m and on the

other, runners ready to fight.

Build in 1966, the Bugatti Circuit is a permanent racetrack located in the

south of the city of Le Mans in France (only 55 minutes from Paris and 1h30

from Roissy CDG Airport by train). Various sport events take place there.

The most famous are the automotive, motorbike and truck races under the

world-known designation of « 24 Heures », but there are also a roller-skate

competition and the motorbike French Grand Prix. The venue is a closed

racetrack enlightened throughout the night.

post to the team manager.

General Terms & Conditions

Φ Registration starts the 21 November 2017 and will be close 22 July 2018.

Limited to 520 teams (including 100 singles and 50 pairs)

Φ No registration is possible on the venue the day of the race.

Φ No medical certificate will be delivered on the venue.

Φ Registration is considered as a binding agreement (No refund will be made).

Φ Registration must be filled-out on the internet on www.24heuresvelo.fr/en.

Φ You do not need to know all riders names to register a team

Φ Teammates’ names must be submitted before registrations end.

Φ Registration is not considered as valid until approved by CGO.

Φ It falls within the competence of CGO to accept or reject an application.

REGISTRATION INCLUDES


The race is opened to all, members or not of a Cycling Federation. You can compete as a single rider, a

pair or teams of 4, 6 or 8 members. Contestants need to be at least 18 years old in the year of the event.

Riders are split into the following categories:

«SINGLE » (1 Contestant) MAN WOMAN

« PAIR » (2 Contestants) MAN MIXED

« 4 RIDERS - TEAM » (4 Contestants) MAN WOMAN (100% Women)

« 6 RIDERS - TEAM » (6 Contestants) MAN WOMAN (100% Women) MIXED (2 women min.)

« 8 RIDERS - TEAM » (8 Contestants) MAN WOMAN (100% Women) MIXED (3 women min.)

An overall ranking as well as a category rankings (if three teams minimum) will be held based on the

longest distance ridden. Women’s team of 4, 6 or 8 will compete in the 100% women category. If a team

doesn’t belong to any category, it will only be part of the overall ranking. All rankings will be published at

the end of the race so that every contestant is aware of his/her performance.

Your trackside pit lounges

Use the pit lounge as your HQ and follow the entire race as close as possible from your team!

Rent your pit lounge to receive your visitors and partners, or allow riders to rest and to feed

between two relays. Situated above the pits, in the 1st or 2nd floor, Le Mans trackside pit lounges

offer you a direct view on the track and the pitlane.

Pearl Izumi 24 Hours Cycling’ Village

Beyond the cycling race, the Pearl Izumi 24 Hours Cycling of Le Mans is also an opportunity for

contestants and visitors to discover the Village. Exhibitions and animations will be available to participants

throughout the weekend.

La Matinale des 24 Heures Vélo Pearl Izumi has been created for visitors, teams, staff members and

friends. This morning one hour event allows the participants to spot and get familiar with the legendary

Bugatti racetrack. Anyone can take part in the « La Matinale ».

Wearing a helmet is mandatory.
