Transmission Gear Kit with Clutch for GR6 R35（GT-R）

HKS has developed a new transmission gear kit with clutch for R35 GT-R for ultimate power control. We have tested and developed this product under HKS GT1000 Spec + slick tire + circuit time attack environment. And finally HKS has produced the ultimate transmission that will sustain the ultimate torque of GT-R.

・We have designed all the parts originally for the best measurement, so that it has more disks(stock:6, HKS:8) without making the them thinner. This change will provide a better transmission capacity and prevent from distortion in higher heat.

Also we designed a bigger piston so that it doesn’t have to modify the oil system. It has 110% better pressure joining compared to the stock.

・We adopted an original pressure‐resistant oil seal that has 170% stronger that the stock by redesigning the oil seal that’s inside the case.

・Adopted to the tuned engine’s higher RPM by changing the thrust needle bearing to the ball bearing. (allowance RPM: 8500)

・These upgrades make this clutch pack produce 175% more transmission capacity than the stock and 300% more strength (HKS testing data).

・All set and adjusted at shipping as a bolt-on of the clutch pack.

・The ultimate clutch pack for 1000ps and still has a smooth control for a parking in a garage.

●TOTALLY NEW DESIGNED STRUCTURE・The new structure design made gear cog width wider so it has an absolute

strength. ・We also used 3 times stronger steel material than the stock plate to

prevent from damage.・We also used strong steel materials for front cover, so that it will have the 100% capacity

to support bearing.

●High Quality Gear・As our study in the market about the gear, it the damage usually occurs in the gear

cog. Therefore we designed to the accurate and precise shape of the gear in to the micro level. It has a highly accurate gear movement and also has the less gear noise.

・Because of the super power of tuned engine, the oil film could break off, to protect the gear in such situation, we adopted best surface treatment which used in the F1.

●Correspond for stock’s weak point・Stock shifting fork sometime break down, so we made hybrid of steel and aluminum for

stronger and easy to replace the product.・We designed the both shaft end for fastening screw so that it will have no more

snap ring falling off problem. Also we reduced weighting press-fit for installation or totally inlaying design to more solid gear fixation with the screw. This will results in a improved maintainability and also have a stronger shaft.

＊ Need to disassemble transmission and reassemble because the some parts are re-used from the stock.

☆ The kit includes gear, clutch pack, shifting fork, sandwich plate and original bearing. It does not need to take out the bearing from the stock like other normal tuning kits, so that it’s much easier to handle and safer.

New 4 tailpipes type LEGAMAX Sports muffler, only for BRZ.●Cool 4 tailpipes design! We designed and developed a new 4 tailpipes type HKS LEGAMAX SPORTS muffler for the stock BRZ bumper garnish to make it more stylish appearance. You can have a little change in appearance than others.

●Higher reduction in sound level and exhaust pressure For lower RPM, which most of the daily street drives uses, the noise inside car is almost as low as stock vehicle. However once you put the gas, very cool sporty sound of muffler has an effect. Of course, for Super Manifold installed vehicle will have this 2 way effects, too. We have designed this product for the future upgrades to 350ps and over by the straight and no squeezing shape that allow it to have super low exhaust pressure.

HKS is introducing the new φ80 size HYBRID SPORTS OIL FILTER which improves oil flow by the hybrid filter structure and super stealth structure.

● R35 GT-R stock’s heat range is the same as NGK 8, NGK 9 to 86/BRZ, and the new HKS M50HL is the same as NGK 10. It’s for a high tuning vehicles.

● Reinforced by making the outer electrode bigger(see the pictures below). Also could have a steady ignition and ignition speed at a high load and high RPM by putting the center electrode in the middle of the spark plug.

● Improved the anti-taint property by making thermal edge to prevent the carbon buildup which occurs for the tuned engines.

FEATURES

● The new φ80 size HYBRID SPORTS OIL FILTER improves oil pressure drop and flow properties by approximately 30% compared to current sports oil filters.

● The large super intake hole and newly developed low resistant hybrid filter make it less of pressure loss. So it will improve the engine response by reducing the engine load.

● It does not have an extra reinforcement inner net to have more efficient oil flow. Instead, we reinforced it with stronger filter material and redesigned the structure to correspond the high viscosity oil. These new filter features will provide the stable fresh oil flow.

☆ Ensured wide area of combustion by optimizing the posit ion of the outer electrode and central electrode. It has a more efficient flame spread than the normal iridium spark plug.

Super Hybrid Oil FilterUnwoven cloth and special plastic fiber composite is used ensuring high strength and low pressure loss. A refined but tough filter has been achieved which can withstand high pressure and high viscosity.

.vol.9 HKS participated at the “Fuji 86 Style with BRZ 2013” which was held in the Fuji Speedway on 4th of August. The event started from 7:30 on Sunday morning, there were many people gathered at the gate. We could feel the 86/BRZ enthusiasts’ energy for the event. And when the gate opened up, many people came to HKS booth. We were displaying the HKS demo car with GT SUPERCHARGER installed and other products like SUPER MANIFOLD GT-SPEC, FLASH EDITOR and etc. Customers asked us many questions about our new products for 86/BRZ that were displayed in the booth and we explained them the characteristics and features of those products. We could see some 86/BRZ owners are eager to tune their cars for more power and better performance. We also did announce that we are developing some new products for 86/BRZ and people were very interested in those, too. We will try to satisfy our customers by making best prod-ucts for 86/BRZ and other automobiles in the aftermarket!
