War Eagle! The Pi Chapter has already had one productive and service-filled semester, and is currently gearing up for another! In the fall, we continued to carry on our regular marching band service while, at the same time, prepared for our annual 5K that was moved to the fall for the first time and took place in October. We also had the opportunity to play with the high school band at Benjamin Russell High School, jointly headed band-wide fundraisers with our Tau Beta Sigma Chapter to go toward the Beat Bama Food Drive for which we raised the most money in our di-vision, and also had our small ensemble perform at Monarch Estates Retirement Home. For the upcoming semester, we will have our small ensemble perform for a couple of other venues, help the music depart-ment prepare for middle and high school symphonic honor bands, and also prepare for the possibility of our first annual golf tournament, all while offering the various ensembles any services we can provide to them! As usual, Pi has stayed very busy this past fall. Along with our regular marching band service, which includes water crews and field maintenance, we reached out to the surrounding community.

We had the privilege of playing with the Ben Russell and Valley High School Bands at a football game, teaching a music lesson at East Smiths Station Elemen-tary, and performing at the Monarch Estates Retirement Home

Pi had quite a few social activities this fall, includ-ing a pumpkin carving social with TBS, the an-nual AUMB Halloween Social and the second annual Boh-B-Q Alumni
