Think Proteochoc

Page 7: 2 nd link: cellular protection

Like certain other algae and plants, the seaweed Porphyra umbilicalis can survive under extremely harsh conditions

Porphyral extract was added to the first Oxybiane composition in 1993 (?), for its anti-oxidant and anti-elastase properties.

In 1995, Dr Paul Bringer and Dr Jean-Louis Lichon observed the effects of Oxybiane on dry eyes and cataracts, suggesting that the product, and in particular Porphyral, might have other properties.

About Proteochoc

Page 8: 2 nd link: cellular protection

P.U. type plants and algae are known to have the ability to

synthesise HSP rapidly

= In 1999, PiLeJe became involved in a stress protein modulator development project.

= Meeting with HSP specialist Professor André Patrick ARRIGO* (CNRS LYON 1). He suggested that Porphyral had a HSP-modulating effect.

= Research projects began
