HILIOS, answered with these simple words in our question on how it manages and is constantly in the spotlight in a field that hardly anyone has survived due to a series of problems because of the crisis which started in 2010. His company for nearly 30 years provides services like waterjet cleaning, blasting, spoggobolis and coloring in water and land facilities.

We came across Mr. Tassos Hilios 20 years ago and we are pretty sure that every time we meet we are pleasantly sur-prised. He constantly makes up steps and never gives up. In the middle of the economic crisis, A.HILIOS incurs large and challenging projects both in Greece and abroad. The last contract of Mr. Tassos Hilios relates to a company in Singapore with 8 ships that would need to be completed by the end of 2017. The two of them are already finished. Also, in Greece, A. HILIOS works this time in a highly specialized project for which Mr. Tassos Hilios wants to complete the project and then say more about it.

As for the key to his successful and professional career, in addition to the high quality and great experience, is that Mr. Tassos Hilios is really a master on shipping services. The company does not have any debts and as a standard policy in-vests back the profit in equipment and expertise. This way, the best days for the ship repair zone, that he believes they will come soon, will find him ready to provide even better his services to shipowners.This September, according to Mr. Tasos Hilios, the Chinese who own the port of Piraeus will carry a large floating dock and the port will change much over the next 2 years. Such is the confidence of shipowners in his good name, that he has built over the years that even during the interview he gave us, the phone rang several times for a project. He and his staff are ready 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.

Mr. Tassos Hilios spoke about a latest project that had as goal the reduction in fuel consumption and increase the speed of the ship. Going for 2500 high quality bar jetting in which all colors come aboard and stays pure sheet metal. Proceeding with special silicone colors which have the capacity to offer the ship less friction and therefore lower fuel con-sumption and higher speed. In order to achieve the combination of high-quality work and quick delivery time of the project, the personnel gave its best as always.

The company HILIOS ANASTASIOS MONOPROSOPI e p e. was established to offer services: cleaning, sandblasting, waterjet, spog-gobolis and coloring in water and land facilities. Its founder is Mr. Hilios Anastasios who deals with this issue since 1988 having originally created the Hilios Hellas and later A HILIOS LTD.Its facilities located in Perama Zone, Attika area on formerly Karras. The A HILIOS LTD has its own brand HPS service provision distinguishing its services from other companies in the same industry. It has earned a worthy reputation for the quality of its work using constantly renewed mechanical equipment, with new technology equipment purchased from EU countries and working methods which are environmentally friendly in accordance with the international standards. A HILIOS LTD employs a large number of scientific and technical personnel with more than 20 years of experience in ship repairs. Today the company undertakes operations worldwide for its clients, providing 24-hour service and continues to pioneer and aims to offer the most competitive services and offerings in the industry, protecting both the property of its customers and the environment.

SERVICES AND EQUIPMENT

The company primarily offers its services in ship repair zone of Perama. In the of former Karras Shipyards area located its engineering facilities. A. HILIOS undertakes waterjet works, blasting, painting and surface preparation in yards inside and outside Greece after agreement. Also sends its personnel in any part of the world are asked by their custom-ers. The services are provided on a 24-hours basis observing international standards for completion of the work and ensure the quality both of jobs and of the environment. For the best performance of the work, machinery and equipment, in the possession of the company exist 33 cherry picker, 14 hydroblasts, 1 hydrosand blasting, 20 compresseurs 28 hoses blasting, a barge, a truck, cranes, bobcat, tube cleaning systems, vacuum, robot hydroblast, pumps, rotary nozzles clean of internal pipes. The company has the ability to provide its services to various industries and services. Main scope of HILIOS ANASTASIOS MONOPROSOPI e p e is the shipping, offering the most competitive services at affordable prices. In the industrial sector has undertaken major projects winning the trust and cooperation of large corporations like Coca Cola, Shell Hellas, Chalybourgiki, Motor Oil, Greek Petroleum and Energean Oil Gas. In addition, regarding to the public sector, the company has participated in competitions to assign tasks for both the Navy and to the projects of highways.
