    DUL Step 1The DUL in Step 1 does not have a network processor. The UP, CP and OAM functions are available on different physical ports and using different IP addresses.The DUL step 1 will not have SoIP, DHCP support or VLAN based traffic separation.No ARP support, the Ethernet MAC of the default gateway will be configured during start and used on all outgoing packets. As a consequence the BB module can only communicate via the default gateway on the LAN.
