A quick look to our future research plans (Geo-Maths in Primary Care team, CSFM)*

i. New manuscript: CHD in Europe, Greece & Crete (the Spili study) a GIS epidemiology & network analysis on a

database of a previous project of the CSFM

ii. Study: impact of economic crisis on CVD and cancer (place & time parameters) / special focus on spirituality/religiosity (in the framework of a previous project and a theoretical background of spirituality by Anifantakis et al., 2013a and an ongoing collaboration between CSFM and the Department of Oncology of the University hospital of Heraklion).

iii. Study: variations on morbidity in relation to several socio-economic factors and place of residence among the patients of the Academic Primary Care Unit , in the inner Heraklion.

iv. Other ideas: create applications with clinical impact and special focus on personalized care
